India, Aug. 21 -- Here is some great news for the environment! Taj Hotels in Mumbai are all set to get 60 per cent of its energy requirements from solar power.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), which is South Asia's largest hospitality company has recently announced that it will be using solar energy to power its hotels after a solar energy Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) was signed between the former and TP Kirnali Solar Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power Company (TPC), and this agreement is valid for a period of 35 years.
