India, April 21 -- With the Indian Railways preparing to launch nine Vande Bharat Sleeper trains between April and December 2025, the popular Delhi-Howrah route is set to be among the first to offer this new overnight rail service. After successful long-distance prototype testing between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, which covered 540 km, the premium sleeper version of the Vande Bharat is ready to enter service. This new train boasts upgrades in speed, comfort, and convenience.
Once operational, the Vande Bharat Sleeper will become the third premium train on this line, joining the Rajdhani Express and the Duronto Express. Here's the full list of potential features, stoppages and schedule.
