India, Nov. 6 -- Air India will resume its direct flight service between New Delhi and Tel Aviv on January 1, 2026, marking a major step in strengthening air connectivity between India and Israel. The announcement was made on November 5, 2025, by Israel's Ministry of Tourism.

According to the ministry, the move is expected to stimulate tourism and economic exchange between the two nations. The reinstated route will operate five times a week (from Sunday to Thursday) using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
