India, April 15 -- Mumbai commuters are set for a significant upgrade in their daily travel with the announcement of the 'Mumbai 1' card, a unified ticketing system designed to streamline access to the city's diverse public transport network. Officially announced by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the card aims to offer seamless connectivity across local trains, metro lines, monorail, and eventually, public buses.
