India, March 7 -- In a significant move toward modernizing Uttar Pradesh's urban infrastructure, the Yogi government has introduced a Geographical Information System (GIS)-based master plan to develop 59 cities using state-of-the-art technology and advanced infrastructure.
This ambitious initiative is designed to streamline urban expansion and strengthen the core infrastructure of multiple cities across the state. As part of this master plan, modernization proposals for 35 cities have already received approval, while the remaining cities are expected to be cleared soon.
