New Delhi, April 14 -- On Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the upcoming 'Zero Poverty' Mission in the state will be named after Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Slated to launch later this month, the mission aims to uplift every underprivileged and marginalized citizen above the poverty line.

Addressing a gathering organized by the Ambedkar Mahasabha on Dr. Ambedkar's 134th birth anniversary, the CM said the mission aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of inclusive development. "No poor individual should be deprived of basic amenities or access to welfare schemes," he emphasized, also releasing a commemorative souvenir on the occasion.
