India, Jan. 25 -- Music composer and singer Palash Muchhal has filed a Rs.10 crore defamation case against Marathi actor and producer Vidnyan Mane. Muchhal has strongly denied claims that he cheated Mane of Rs.40 lakh and dismissed the personal accusations made about his private life.

Muchhal said the allegations were made intentionally to harm his image, both personally and professionally. The legal action comes at a time when his personal life is already under attention, especially after reports that his wedding plans with cricketer Smriti Mandhana were recently cancelled.
