India, Jan. 10 -- A late-night drive turned into a deadly tragedy in Jaipur when a speeding Audi car, allegedly involved in street racing, ploughed into pedestrians and roadside stalls, killing two people and injuring 16 others. The accident occurred around 9:30 pm on Friday in the Journalist Colony area near Kharabas Circle, leaving the locality in shock and panic.

Witnesses said the luxury car was moving at a dangerously high speed when it first hit a road divider. The vehicle then went out of control and rammed into roadside carts and people, dragging destruction for nearly 30 metres before coming to a halt. More than a dozen carts and stalls were smashed, and a parked car was overturned due to the impact.
