India, Jan. 22 -- Mohammed Affan Ahmed, a staff member of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, has been arrested for sexually molesting Kim Sung Kyung, a 32-year-old South Korean tourist. The incident unfolded when she was taken to a men's toilet, pretending it was a baggage inspection, as per several media reports.

The event happened on January 19, 2026, in the international departure area of Terminal 2 after she had gone through immigration.

The name of the person charged is Mohammed Affan Ahmed, and he was an contract based airport ground-handling employee with Air India SATS based in Kammanahalli. He talked to the victim during her passage over her ticket.
