India, Jan. 23 -- US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he will travel to China in April 2026. While speaking to reporters, Trump said he is eager to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and described their personal ties as positive. He also revealed that Xi is expected to visit the United States later in the year.

Speaking aboard Air Force One while returning to the US from his two-day visit to Davos, Trump said, "We're gonna make a trip. I'm going in April." Emphasising his rapport with the Chinese leader, he added, "I've always had a great relationship."
