India, July 25 -- In a continuing and resolute effort to root out the drug menace from the Valley, Srinagar Police has attached a residential property worth Rs.55 lakhs under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, intensifying its campaign against drug trafficking and its financial ecosystem.
The seized property-a two-storeyed house built on 13.5 marlas of land bearing khasra No. 2865 is located in Dawood Colony, Anchaar. It belonged to Khazir Mohammad Tiploo, son of late Abdul Ahad Tiploo, and was identified as illegally acquired through drug money.
