India, Feb. 17 -- Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, 90, has been admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai. Sources confirmed that he is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Family members rushed to the hospital soon after news of his admission surfaced. His eldest son, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, visited him at Lilavati Hospital and left after spending time with his father.
