India, Jan. 10 -- A small private plane heading to Rourkela made a crash landing in Sundargarh district of Odisha on Saturday, leaving six people injured. The aircraft, a Cessna 208 Caravan, was carrying four passengers and two pilots and was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela when the incident occurred.
According to the Odisha government, "India One Air type of aircraft (Caravan 208) bearing Regn. VT-KSS was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela. Departed at 12:27 hours. It had two pilots and 4 passengers. 8 Nautical miles short of reaching Rourkela, the aircraft force landed at a place near Jalda. Pilots have ensured the landing due to which lives have been saved."
