India, March 1 -- Former Norwegian Minister Dr Erik Solheim today at NXT Conclave at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi said that Mahakumbh Mela in 2025 was historical in nature and no such huge gathering was reported anywhere which reflects the deep belief of the people in the Hindu Dharma.

"It (Mahakumbh Mela) was historical. Tens of thousands people gathered at Mahakumbh. Every other religion and ideology can learn from Hindu Dharma," he said.

Former Norwegian minister for Climate and Environment, Erik Solheim, visited Maha Kumbh in middle of the February. He said that the event was unparalleled and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He also praised the scale and significance of the gathering.
