India, Nov. 17 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another crucial associate of the terrorist who carried out the Red Fort area car bomb blast, further exposing the depth and spread of the Faridabad terror module behind the attack.
The accused, Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, a resident of Qazigund in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir, was arrested from Srinagar by an NIA team probing the case.
NIA investigations have revealed that Jasir allegedly provided technical support for terror operations by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets, part of what the agency believes was an effort to develop capabilities for drone-based bombings in civilian areas.
