Jammu, July 30 -- In a significant breakthrough, Jammu Police foiled a major targeted killing attempt by recovering a cache of weapons suspected to have been dropped via drone in the Nagrota area. A Srinagar resident was arrested while transporting the arms in a car registered in Haryana.

According to officials, the arrest was made late on Monday night during a special naka (checkpoint) laid by Police Station Nagrota at the TCP Bypass. Based on specific intelligence inputs, the police intercepted a white Toyota Etios bearing registration number HR38Z-2066, which was travelling from Jammu towards Srinagar.
