India, Jan. 16 -- Maharashtra Election Result 2026: As the trends from the begining of counting is showing that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the single largest party. According to preliminary trends at 2:40 pm, the BJP is leading in 1,087 wards, while its ally, Shiv Sena, is ahead in 291 wards across 29 civic bodies.
