India, Oct. 30 -- Leader of Opposition and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator Sunil Sharma launched a scathing attack on the Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday, accusing it of neglecting flood victims in Jammu and shielding corruption in major departments.
Speaking to reporters outside the Legislative Assembly after staging a walkout, Sharma said that the government has shown "utter insensitivity" toward people affected by recent floods across several districts in the Jammu region. He alleged that despite widespread destruction and hardship faced by the affected families, no serious relief measures had been taken.
