India, Dec. 30 -- Khaleda Zia is the Iron Lady and First Lady Women of Bangladesh. Her death on December 2025 marked the end of a family led politics that shaped nation for more than four decades. Her political legacy is now in hand of her son Tarique Rahman.

Khaleda Zia was a two time Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The first woman to hold the office serving from 1991 to 1996 then again from 2001 to 2006 and she led the Bangladesh Nationalist Party for over forty years. She is known for her firm leadership style and remained a central figure in national politics until her final days.
