India, Jan. 23 -- In a milestone for commercial space tourism, Jeff Bezos's aerospace company, Blue Origin, successfully launched six private citizens to the edge of space and back on Thursday night. While the mission highlighted advancements in reusable rocket technology, shares of Bezos's publicly traded company, Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), traded higher on separate financial drivers.

The NS-38 mission lifted off from Launch Site One in West Texas at approximately 9:55 pm IST, following a brief hold in the countdown. This marked the 17th human flight for the New Shepard program.
