New Delhi, July 11 -- Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Friday clarified that the opposition parties never demanded stay on Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls and took a veiled dig at the Election Commission of India (ECI) alleging deliberately misleading headline management and it does not befit a Constituional authority.
Ramesh, who is also the Congress General Secretary and communication incharge, remarks came a day after the Supreme Court ordered the poll panel to include Aadhar, EPIC card or the ration cards in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter rolls.
