India, Jan. 4 -- In a major action to rein in unlawful activities at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, the IGI Airport unit of the Delhi Police launched an intensive and wide-ranging crackdown in 2025 targeting agents, touts and organised networks allegedly involved in visa and passport frauds, illegal immigration and theft.
During the year-long enforcement drive, more than 130 individuals, including travel agents and facilitators accused of orchestrating visa and passport fraud, were arrested from various parts of the country.
