India, Jan. 15 -- In a recently circulated audio clip,Sarabjit Kaur isan Indian national who married a Pakistani man after converting to Islam during a Sikh pilgrimage in November, can be heard pleading to return to India and describing mental harassment she claims to be facing in Pakistan. She is 48 years old.

The audio clip, over a minute long, went viral on social media. In it, Sarabjit speaks to her ex-husband, Karnail Singh, who now lives in the United Kingdom, asking for help in returning home.

However, The Sunday Guardian has not independently verify the authenticity of the audio.

In the conversation, Sarabjit appeals to her ex-husband, explaining that she is forced to remain in Pakistan against her will.
