SRINAGAR, July 24 -- As part of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, the revered 'Chhari Mubarak' the holy mace of Lord Shiva reached the historic Shankaracharya Temple in Srinagar.
The ceremonial procession began from Dashnami Akhara under the supervision of Mahant Dipendra Giri, the traditional custodian of the holy mace. A special 'Chhari Pujan' was held at the temple, with a large number of devotees in attendance, offering prayers and seeking blessings.
The Shankaracharya Temple, a significant spiritual landmark in Kashmir, witnessed heavy footfall of pilgrims during the special event, as chants of devotion echoed across the premises.
