Kishtwar, July 20, July 20 -- An encounter broke out on Saturday afternoon between terrorists and joint security forces in the dense Dachchan forest area of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. According to official sources, contact has been established with a group of terrorists hiding in the area, with at least two to three militants believed to be trapped.
Personnel from the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police are carrying out the operation with precision, aiming to neutralise the terrorists. The forest zone has been cordoned off, and intense firing was reported from the encounter site.
