India, Jan. 12 -- Denmark is on the brink of a diplomatic crisis with US President Donald Trump making a second attempt at purchasing Greenland, an autonomous Danish territory, in a few months time, while Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen assures that the future of the island is for Denmark and the Danish people to decide, due to Russian and Chinese expansion in the Arctic region.

Mette Frederiksen is born on 19 November 1977, has been Denmark's prime minister and leader of the Social Democratic Party since 2015. She holds the position of prime minister as the second female and youngest person in Danish history.
