NEW DELHI, March 22 -- In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of positioning India as a global leader in sustainable urban transportation, Delhi's Transport Minister, Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, has unveiled an ambitious initiative to transition the city's public bus fleet to electric vehicles in a phased manner. This initiative is a key component of the government's 100-day plan aimed at improving public transportation in Delhi.
