NEW DELHI, May 27 -- The Delhi Police has apprehended four illegal Bangladeshi migrants and subsequently deported them to their home country. This action comes as part of a sustained special campaign initiated six months ago by the Ministry of Home Affairs, aimed at identifying and removing foreign nationals residing unlawfully in Delhi.
Under this campaign, a team from the Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) of the South West District Police successfully arrested four Bangladeshi nationals who had been illegally living in India for the past 12 years. After completing all required legal and procedural formalities, the individuals were deported through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
