India, Jan. 12 -- Even as the Congress has announced screening committee and senior observers for the poll bound states, the party leadership is all set to hold meetings with the senior observers of different states in the coming days, sources said on Monday.

According to party insiders, the Congress leadership is all set to meet with the senior observers of different states in the coming days to chalk out the strategy.

Party insiders said that the senior observers of Assam will be meeting first with the party leadership on January 16 at 3 p.m. at the new party headquarters Indira Bhawan here.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will also be present at the meeting.
