India, Jan. 7 -- With eyes on Good performance in upcoming elections in four states and one Union Territory, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday approved the appointment of senior observers with former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and others.

Congress has named Baghel,Shivakumar and Bandhu Tirkey as senior observer for Assam.

Similarly, the party named Pilot, KJ George, Imran Pratapgarhi and Kanhaiya Kumar as senior observer for Kerala.

For Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the party named Mukul Wasnik, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin as senior observers and for the state of West Bengal the party has ...
