India, May 17 -- In today's world, people are busy. We walk past each other. We scroll on our phones. We talk, but often we do not listen. We see faces, but we do not truly see the person. Many people feel lonely-even in a crowd. But the story of Jesus of Nazareth gives us another picture. In the Bible, Jesus often looked at people with love. He saw a sick woman in a crowd. He saw a man who could not walk. He saw a woman who others wanted to punish. When He looked at people, He did not judge.
He did not ignore. His eyes were kind. His heart was open. Jesus did not only see the outside. He saw the heart. He saw people's pain. He saw their dreams. He saw their true worth-even when others did not. He spoke to the poor, the weak, the outcast...
