India, March 1 -- Abraham stood on a barren hill, gazing at the endless sky. He had no son, no heir, and yet, God's voice echoed in his heart: "Look toward the heavens and count the stars, if you can. So shall your descendants be." Abraham believed-not because he saw the fulfillment, but because he trusted the One who promised. And in that trust, Scripture says, "It was credited to him as righteousness-and Abraham was called God's friend." (James 2:23) When God called, Abraham obeyed. He journeyed far-through unknown lands, through seasons of doubt, through moments of impossible trust. And yet, here he was, not just a servant, not merely a believer, but something even more remarkable: God's friend.
