India, Dec. 28 -- The Congress party may change its strategy for the elections in the new year. According to sources, the Congress will form alliances according to the states and will focus on local and issues which affect common man. After the major defeat in the Bihar elections, there have been discussions within the party about changing its strategy. The Congress is also avoiding giving too much importance to caste politics. There are indications that the party will also give less importance to the issue of vote rigging in the states.
