India, Nov. 30 -- Following its sweeping victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has shifted its focus to Assam, where elections are slated for mid-March to April 2026. Under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's leadership, the party has begun implementing an early, high-intensity election blueprint centred on strengthening its organisation, promoting young and female candidates, and tackling demographic challenges in key regions.
