India, May 31 -- BJP reviews governance in key states, considers reshuffles to tackle internal rifts and boost efficiency

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) top leadership has initiated a comprehensive review of governance in BJP-ruled states. According to sources, barring Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh, the central leadership is likely to issue specific directives to other BJP-governed states, potentially triggering cabinet reshuffles.

About a year and a half ago, the BJP surprised many by appointing entirely new faces as Chief Ministers in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
