India, Jan. 28 -- The city of Pune and the entire state of Maharashtra are currently going through a phase of collective mourning following the untimely death of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a plane crash tragedy near Baramati and as a result of which, the issue of bank holidays, school closures and other services has become the most important one for the people of Pune, which is close to the site of the tragedy. From a statistical point of view, the number of accidents involving charter planes in India is less than 2% of the total aviation accidents every year.
