India, Jan. 22 -- A shooting incident in Lake Cargelligo, a small town in central west New South Wales, left three people dead and another seriously injured on Thursday afternoon as police continued searching for the suspect. Emergency services were called to Walker Street near Yelkin Street at about 4.40 pm after reports of gunfire. Officers from the Central West Police District soon arrived and found multiple victims.

Authorities confirmed that two women and one man were killed, and another man was rushed to the hospital in serious but stable condition. A crime scene has been established, and investigators are trying to determine exactly what happened.
