India, Oct. 29 -- A brief but intense uproar was witnessed in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Wednesday after BJP MLA Shagun Parihar made controversial remarks alleging the neglect of Hindu communities in her Kishtwar constituency.
While participating in a discussion on regional development, Parihar stated, "In our Kishtwar, we are Rashtrawadi Hindu log and we are being neglected; no work is being done." Her statement immediately drew sharp reactions from members across party lines, prompting the Speaker to intervene and restore order.
