India, July 23 -- Even as security forces had intensified counterinsurgency operations in eastern Arunachal Pradesh and eastern Assam following reliable intelligence inputs of the presence of multiple hit squads of Ulfa (Independent) in the region, the recovery of yet another bomb today has created sensation in the region.
Namsai Superintendent of Police(SP) Sange Thinley said that the bomb has been recovered by the security forces from Nongtaw Khampti village, close to the same location from where an IED was recovered on Saturday.
He said Security forces had cordoned off the area, and the verification process to identify the nature of the bomb is on.
