Srinagar, July 24 -- In a significant crackdown under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Sopore Police have attached a residential property for its alleged role in providing shelter and logistical support to terrorists involved in anti-national activities.

The property includes a single-storey residential house and land measuring 3 kanals and 3 marlas, falling under Survey Nos. 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2018, located at Reban Ramham. The property is owned by Javaid Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, a resident of Reban Sopore.

The action is linked to FIR No. 133/2024, registered at Police Station Sopore under sections 13, 18, 19, 20, 23, 38, and 39 of the UAPA, along with section 7/25 of the Arms Act.
