NEW DELHI: The announcement of the Bharatiya Janata Party's new national president may still be pending, but the party has shifted its immediate focus to the upcoming state elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already begun crafting election strategies for states heading to the polls next year. On Friday, Shah took his first step by appointing a new state president in Tamil Nadu and reviving the alliance with the AIADMK, marking the beginning of BJP's groundwork in the southern state.
