Government officials confirmed that the funeral will be held with full state honours, reflecting Pawar's long political service and influence in the region.
The tragic incident occurred as Pawar's chartered aircraft attempted to land at Baramati Airport after departing from Mumbai. The plane went down during an emergency landing attempt, and all six people on board, including Pawar, were confirmed dead by authorities.
