India, Jan. 28 -- Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar died in a tragic plane crash near Baramati Airport on January 28, sending shockwaves across the state and the nation.The chartered aircraft had taken off from Mumbai earlier in the morning and crashed during a landing attempt.

All five people on board, including Pawar, two pilots, and security personnel, lost their lives. Dramatic visuals from the crash site showed thick smoke, flames, and scattered wreckage near the airstrip.

Emergency teams rushed to the scene, but officials confirmed there were no survivors. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
