LUDHIANA, March 2 -- A FIVE-DAY training course in "Advances in Flower Cultivation and Landscaping" began at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) today. The Skill Development Centre, Directorate of Extension Education, PAU, has organized the course for the officers of Floriculture Department of Kashmir.
Dr TS Riar, Associate Director (Skill Development), welcomed the Kashmiri officials and presented the key outlines of the course.
Dr Kiran Grover, Senior Extension Specialist, Skill Development Centre, presented an overview of the Centre. Dr KK Dhatt, Head, Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, highlighted the importance, scope and prospects of cut flower cultivation.
