HISAR, Nov. 21 -- THE court of ADJ Seema Singhal sentenced 16 convicts to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1.25 lakh in the double murder case of Balak village. If they do not pay the fine, they will have to face additional imprisonment of two years. The court acquitted three accus-ed and one accused had died.
According to the case file old woman Sughan Devi and her son Kuldeep were killed by gunshot injuries and Sughndra Devi's younger son Surendra was critically injured in the firing in Balak village in Barwala on March,15 2014. Suresh Kumar of Balak village had complained to the police that at six-thirty in the evening that day, he was in the house and his mother Sughan Devi and brother Kuldeep were in Chaubare.
