Srinagar 23 January, Jan. 24 -- The air trafficwassuspended at the Srinagar International Airport after the inclement weather conditions in Kashmir valley from Saturday morning.
Following the snowfall in Kashmir since morning, which was predicted by the MeT department, the air traffic at Srinagar's Airport was halted due to snow accumulation on the runwaytill the after and then remained suspended throughout the day.
As per officials, not a single flight operated from the Srinagar Airport on Saturday due to the snowfall and several flights scheduled to leave from the Airport were delayedand then cancelled.
Officials said that the flights won't take off until the snow accumulation is cleared off the run and that only be done when it stops ...
