NIGERIA, Dec. 3 -- Returning to league action against Kano Pillars at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Rivers United is still reeling from their near 2-1 loss to RS Berkane in the CAF Champions League last weekend.

The loss at Uyo added to their earlier setback to Pyramids FC in Cairo, putting them at the bottom of their Champions League group and needing rapid domestic momentum.
