Nigeria, July 25 -- Champion Breweries Plc has posted a remarkable second-quarter 2025 financial result with a record pre-tax profit of N1.7 billion, a significant increase from N465.4 million it posted in the same quarter of 2024.

This is a year-on-year profit growth of over 268 percent, a sign of a robust comeback of the company's operation efficiency and sales push.

In the half-year, the brewery had a pre-tax half-year profit of N3.4 billion, a remarkable turnaround from a loss of N333 million during the comparable period last year. It was led largely by a massive surge in beer and malt sales, which recorded N7.4 billion in Q2 alone, 44.18 percent up on Q2 2024.
