Dhaka, July 7 -- Rajshahi University (RU), the second largest public university in the country, on Monday celebrated its 67th founding anniversary in limited scale amid the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
The day's programmes began with hoisting of national flag and university flags in front of the administrative building at 10 am through maintaining social distancing and following other health related government's guidelines.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan accompanied by Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof Ananda Kumar Saha and Prof Chowdhury Jakaria and Proctor Prof Lutfor Rahman planted a tree sapling on a road island near the main entrance to mark the day.
