Dhaka, Jan. 23 -- The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Wednesday set February 20 to submit probe report in a case lodged over killing of Taslima Begum Renu, 40, in a mob beating in North Badda area in the capital.
Magistrate Ziaur Rahman passed the order on Wednesday morning as the Investigation Officer of the case failed to submit the report
Taslima Begum Renu, 40, mother of two children, was brutally beaten to death by a mob on suspicion of being a child lifter in front of North Badda Government Primary School in the morning on July 20, 2019.
It was later learned that Renu went there to take information regarding admission of her daughter Tahsin Tuba, 4, in that school.
